EIC Ltd and Independent Women IFAS expand into Glasgow

Edinburgh based Independent Financial Advisors EIC Ltd and Independent Women are delighted to announce the opening of their new Glasgow office in March 2012.

The new offices, situated in the heart of Glasgow’s Financial District in Blythswood Square, mark expansion for the company of 20 years standing. CEO Lesley Mackintosh founded EIC Ltd in 1993, offering a full range of financial services and advice across the market, before spotting a gap in the market and launching Independent Women in 1997: offering the same services, but with a style and delivery tailored to match the style and preferences of women.

Lesley Mackintosh explains:

“We’re incredibly excited about our new venture, and are looking forward to increasing our presence in the West Coast and extending our network of contacts and clients from our new base.

“Even in times of challenge and recession, perhaps even more so, quality independent financial advice is of great importance, which is why we are proud to bring a fresh approach in providing a friendly, jargon-free and efficient service.”

EIC Director Scott Mackintosh, aims to lead the growth of EIC’s brand and client base throughout Scotland. He commented:

“Despite the difficult economic times, we’re proud to have maintained our staffing levels and take this opportunity for expansion to put us, and our private and corporate clients, in an even better position for the future.

“Our new location will provide opportunity for further growth and position us for greater engagement with our West of Scotland clients.  This move will enable us to meet the demand for sound, independent advice and to assist our current and new clients navigate the choppy waters of recession and the most recent legislation surrounding auto enrolment.”
